Evie S1 is a smart, high-frame electric bike

The Evie S1 is a high-end electric bicycle designed for urban use, featuring structural components made from 6061 aluminum alloy. This model is equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide the best in safety, comfort, and connectivity. Manufactured under European quality standards, the Evie S1 combines premium finishes with a comprehensive feature set, including hydraulic disc brakes, an integrated handlebar display, an automatic rear-wheel locking system, GPS tracking, a motion-sensor alarm, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dedicated mobile app, along with all the accessories expected in a high-end bicycle.

The Shimano Altus 9-speed drivetrain, the Torque pedal-assist sensor, the LG 36V 9.6Ah battery, the 250W Bafang motor, the five levels of assistance, and the front and rear lights controlled from the display… all come together to create a top-tier bicycle for safe and agile urban commuting.

Frame

The Evie S1 features a lightweight and durable 6061 aluminum alloy frame. It has a low-step design, making it easy to maneuver and access while maintaining a rigid and stable ride. The tubular structure, finished with polished welds, provides an exceptional aesthetic and structural quality.

LG Lithium-Ion Battery

The Evie S1 is equipped with a 36V lithium-ion battery with a 9.6Ah capacity, using LG cells. It has a maximum range of up to 90 km (according to the manufacturer’s data). The battery is fully integrated into the central part of the frame, protected against overvoltage and overcharging. It also features IPX5 water resistance and additional safety systems against impacts, sparks, and surface wear.

36V 250W Motor

The Evie S1 is powered by a 36V, 250W rear-hub Bafang motor, factory-limited to prevent exceeding 25 km/h. According to regulations, once the bike reaches this speed, the motor must stop assisting pedaling.

The motor delivers enough power to tackle steep inclines with ease. A Torque-type pedal pressure sensor regulates the motor's assistance based on the selected level from the five available assist modes.

160 mm Hydraulic Disc Brakes

The S1 model is equipped with 160 mm hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, providing strong braking power and ensuring the bike stops within a few meters in emergency situations, regardless of road conditions.

Additionally, activating the brake levers immediately disengages the motor, allowing for a quick and efficient braking response.

9-Speed Gear System

The 9-speed drivetrain on the Evie S1 allows riders to adjust pedaling effort without straining the motor. The handlebar-mounted gear shifter enables precise gear selection, adapting to different terrain inclines.

The gear system is the Shimano Altus M315, featuring 9 speeds, a Rapidfire Plus shifting system, and an optical gear indicator.

Integrated Digital Console

An integrated display provides real-time riding data, including current speed, distance traveled, remaining battery life, and motor assist level, as well as additional features such as light control.

For enhanced safety, the control buttons are positioned next to the grip, allowing easy operation without releasing the handlebar.

Smart Locking System

The Evie S1 features a built-in rear-wheel locking system, activated via the Evie App or the EV-Key NFC card.

This smart locking system includes a motion sensor and an alarm, preventing unauthorized manipulation of the bike. Additionally, it sends alerts to the linked smartphone whenever tampering is detected.

Bluetooth Connectivity and Integrated GPS

The S1 model comes with a concealed built-in GPS module, which, when paired with the Evie App, offers advanced connectivity features, including real-time tracking, navigation, ride monitoring, and anti-theft security.

Some of these services require activation of the EV-Secure module, which is free for the first year.

CE Certification – EN15194:2017

The Evie S1 has undergone and passed the rigorous testing required to obtain the European EPAC EN15194:2017 certification for electric bicycles.

This certification ensures that e-bikes meet strict quality and safety standards, while also complying with environmental sustainability goals.
